Armed with her mother's ruby red slippers, Dawn went to Oz. There, she fell in love with the Tinman's son, heartless as his father once was, who hurt her very badly.
Feeling very weak and longing to be strong again, Dawn has abandoned the ruby red slippers and sets out, determined, to make it home due to her own strength, not someone else's magic.
